<p>ATLANTA, GA – November 9, 2010 &#8211; “Leadership: Preparing Your Organization and Supply Chain for the Future” is the theme for the <a href="../?page_id=5">7<sup>th</sup> Annual National Logistics &amp; Distribution Conference (NLDC)</a> scheduled for April 11-13, 2011 at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  An exclusive educational forum for the advancement of senior-level, supply-chain leaders, NLDC 2011 will bring together industry executives to discuss Leadership, Operational Excellence and Transportation Innovation through presentations, real-world case studies and cutting-edge technology solutions.  NLDC attendees represent Fortune 1000 companies focused on optimizing supply chain logistics and distribution performance to improve service, productivity and profitability.</p>

<p>NLDC 2011 will feature two prominent <a href="../?page_id=7">keynote speakers, Fox Business Channel’s Stuart Varney and The Home Depot’s Mark Holifield</a>.  Charismatic, articulate and candid, Varney consistently wins rave reviews from audiences and is credited with changing the way that television reports on financial and economic news worldwide.  An economist educated at the London School of Economics, he addresses the rapidly shifting domestic and global economic trends, and the implications for business, institutional investors and individuals.</p>

<p>As Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain, Holifield is responsible for The Home Depot’s retail logistics, import and domestic distribution, delivery, transportation, and inventory planning and replenishment operations.  Holifield has three decades of experience developing and leading fast-paced, high-volume retail supply chain management, transportation and logistics operations.  He will address innovations and accomplishments in the recent comprehensive transformation of The Home Depot’s global supply chain.</p>

<p>New this year, sponsorships have eliminated the NLDC registration fee for attendees reducing their expense to travel and hotel only.  The conference seating is limited to the first 100 end-user supply chain executive <a href="../?page_id=12">registrations</a> accepted.
